SHANNAN DUGAN


Shannan Dugan is a former Assistant District Attorney in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and has specialized primarily in criminal defense for the last ten years. She has handled hundreds of criminal cases, including driving under the influence, possession and sale of narcotics, theft, assault and battery, and multi-defendant federal drug and conspiracy cases, as well as a variety of other charges. She has represented clients all over the state of California, including San Francisco, Alameda, Contra Costa, Solano, Sacramento, Trinity and Los Angeles counties.

Ms. Dugan has also handled a select group of personal injury cases where her clients suffered fractured bones, traumatic brain injuries, scarring and psychological injuries. She consistently obtained positive results for her clients and their families due to her extensive experience in court.

Ms. Dugan has published numerous articles on criminal law issues, and has been a featured speaker on cross examination at various seminars. She is “AV” rated by Martindale-Hubbell (the highest rating possible)*. Ms. Dugan is a tenacious and passionate advocate and obtains the best possible result for her clients.
