Plaintiff was an elderly woman who suffered a severe fracture when she tripped and fell over a defective condition in the common grounds of her large apartment complex in the San Joaquin Valley.
As a result of the fall and injury, plaintiff had to undergo a surgery which left her with permanent limitations.
The defense claimed that the property was kept in good condition and that it did not have any notice of the problems which caused the plaintiff’s fall.
