Allison P. O’Day
Allison O’Day is an Associate Attorney with Winer, Burritt & Scott, LLP in their Oakland office, where her practice focuses on employment, harassment, discrimination, wrongful termination, sexual assault, and civil rights cases. She decided to become a lawyer because she wanted to make a difference in people’s lives, and particularly, to fight for those whose rights have been taken away or impacted by unjust practices and people, to uncover their stories, and give them the justice they deserve.
Prior to joining WB&S, Allison worked in personal injury litigation, dedicating herself to making sure that people received the compensation to which they were entitled after being injured by another person or entity. She has extensive experience battling insurance companies in order to achieve the maximum value of her clients’ claims. Having worked as both plaintiff and defense counsel in personal injury litigation, she has the experience and perspective of both sides.
Allison earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of California, San Diego, and her J.D. from the University of West Los Angeles, School of Law. She is active in her local legal community and enjoys volunteering with the local high school mock trial competitions. Allison lives in San Diego, California with her wife and their two senior miniature poodles.
