KGO Profiles WBS&J’s School Sex Abuse Case Handled By Partner Elana Jacobs

WBS&J client, Jane Doe, spoke publicly with KGO about the abuse she endured as a Daly City High School Student and how it shaped her life, and what accountability looks like to her. She is pursuing a civil lawsuit against Bayshore Elementary School District, where she first encountered Marcus Dyson. According to the civil complaint, Doe was in 7th and 8th grade when Dyson, then a 41-year-old music teacher, groomed and exploited her trust while running the school’s music program.
