
Carole Okolowicz
Carole Okolowicz is an Associate Attorney with Winer, Burritt, Scott & Jacobs, LLP in their Oakland office. Her practice focuses on employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation, psychotherapist sexual abuse, and sexual abuse of minors.
Carole has devoted her legal career to helping people injured by others. Prior to joining Winer, Burritt, Scott & Jacobs, she represented people with catastrophic physical injuries and traumatic brain injuries due to another’s carelessness, workers suffering from the humiliation of discrimination and harassment, and workplace whistleblowers who were fired for speaking up. Carole is committed to using the law to support human dignity.
Carole earned her undergraduate degree in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and her J.D. from the University of San Francisco. After moving from Wisconsin, where she grew up, to San Francisco, Carole worked as a legal assistant for over a decade in firms that represented injured workers. In law school, she focused on labor and employment law. She completed internships at the Wisconsin Supreme Court for Chief Justice Ann Walsh Bradley and at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission in Oakland.
