Jessica L. Hart

Jessica Hart is an Associate Attorney with Winer, Burritt & Scott, LLP in their Oakland office, where her practice focuses on discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, and sexual
abuse cases. As a lawyer and advocate, Jessica is committed to exposing injustice and bringing the weight of California and federal legal protections to bear to achieve exceptional results for her clients.

Prior to joining Winer, Burritt & Scott, Jessica spent her legal career working on behalf of injured plaintiffs to vindicate their right to be free from discrimination, harassment, and abuse from unjust practices and people both in and outside of the workplace. Jessica has also represented employees in individual and collective wage and hour actions, including numerous
cases involving wage abuses in California’s domestic health care industry, which employs some of the most vulnerable members of the community.

As an attorney with Winer, Burritt & Scott, Jessica plans to continue her advocacy for victims of abuse and misconduct, giving her clients both a platform to tell their stories and a path toward justice and the compensation they deserve.

Jessica earned her undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and her J.D. from the University of California, Davis, School of Law. She is active in her local legal community and is on the Advisory Committee for Capital Pro Bono, a Sacramento County non-profit that provides no-cost access to legal services.
