Douglas M. Weisband
Douglas M. Weisband is a Senior Associate with Winer, Burritt & Scott, LLP in their Woodland Hills office, where his practice focuses on discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination,
sexual assault, and sexual abuse cases.
Prior to joining Winer, Burritt & Scott, Doug worked for a prominent employment litigation firm. He achieved great success for his clients through verdicts and settlements.
While an associate at another employment litigation firm, Doug focused on representing victims of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation. Doug has represented plaintiffs in federal trials against the United States Navy and the Department of Homeland Security for discrimination and retaliation. He has represented plaintiffs in state trials against prominent defense firms for discrimination and has even represented clients before the Intertribal Courts of Southern California for discrimination. He has extensive experience in trial and mediation and is skilled at working with clients through all phases of the litigation process.
Doug earned his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and graduated with a certificate in litigation and alternative dispute resolution. During law school, Doug became a certified mediator and had great success facilitating agreements. He is a licensed member of the State Bar of California and Pennsylvania.
